Training for the Competitive Edge

The Prospect Program is Own Touch’s most demanding pathway. This program is available to Mentees only and requires qualification through our assessment process.
Prospect training exists to refine execution speed, decision-making, and consistency in real match environments through intentional, high-level work.

Who the Prospect Program Is For?

The Profile of a Prospect

The Prospect Program is built for players ready to move beyond strong technique and into reliable game performance. We look for athletes who demonstrate:

Foundational Mastery

Mentees who have passed mastery benchmarks through their assessments.

Competitive Experience

Players currently training and competing in academy or elite environments

FUNCTIONAL DECISION-MAKING

High-level decision-making in real soccer moments — not basic instruction or team tactics.

Professional Approach

Consistent effort, focus, and accountability in training.

What Happens in the Studio

Prospect sessions are built around functional, match-realistic work. Training moves away from isolated drills and toward situations that demand speed of thought, execution, and adaptation.

Key training themes include:

Decision-Making Under Pressure

Training the ability to read cues, solve problems, and execute while fatigued.

Positional Awareness

Understanding space, timing, and responsibility within game scenario

Game-Relevant Execution

Soccer shooting drills, passing, and movement patterns that reflect real match demands.

International Influence

Curriculum informed by long-standing partnerships in Brazil, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.

The goal is to translate technical quality into consistent impact during competition.

Program Structure & Standards

A Committed Path to Mastery

The Prospect Program is a structured, long-term development pathway not a drop-in clinic. To preserve training quality and competitive integrity, this environment is reserved exclusively for current, active Own Touch Mentees who have met specific assessment benchmarks.

What to Expect

Small-Group Training

Limited roster sizes ensure high repetition, clear instruction, and individualized professional feedback.

Season-Based Periodization

Training intensity and focus adapt to the soccer calendar, balancing off-season development with in-season performance support.

Competition-Driven Curriculum

Every session is designed to prepare players for the speed, pressure, and decision-making demands of high-level matches.

Fixed Enrollment Groups

Players train in consistent groups to build chemistry, rhythm, and shared understanding over time.

The Global Stage

International Opportunities

Accepted Prospect players may receive priority consideration or roster placement for International Football Collective squads competing in elite international tournaments. These experiences expose players to global standards of play and competitive environments beyond domestic soccer.
Participation is optional and subject to availability and additional tournament fees.

A Community Built Through Trust

Elite Preparation

Arriving early, physically ready, and mentally prepared for the advanced soccer training program demands.

Total Engagement

Full participation in every drill, rep, and tactical discussion, including moments that require decision-making under pressure.

Unwavering Consistency

A steady training commitment that allows the group to progress together through structured tactical soccer training.

The Professional Mindset

Sustained focus, effort, and sportsmanship across every session, regardless of intensity or role.

The “Call-Up” Process

How Placement Works

The Prospect Program is not open for public application. Placement is earned through demonstrated performance, maturity, and technical readiness.

The Benchmark

Players must achieve specific high-tier scores during regular Mentee assessments, including execution within soccer shooting drills and match-relevant scenarios.

Eligibility Status

Once benchmarks are met, a player is formally flagged as Prospect Eligible.

The Invitation

When a roster opening becomes available in the appropriate age group, our staff contacts the family directly.

Securing the Spot

Invitations are extended based on readiness and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
